My daughter and I are obsessed with CSush (as we lovingly dubbed it)! The vegetarian sushi is outstanding- we try to eat here as much as possible. The vegetable tempura roll is to die for. Our favorite server is so cool- she makes us feel like VIPs and we adore her! Absolutely THE BEST SUSHI IN RICHMOND. And the restaurant itself is beautiful! What more could you ask for?? A+++++
Wonderful! I made a mistake and ordered my food for carry out almost an hour too late. I showed up at the time I had intended to pick it up and explained the problem, and they immediate set to work preparing it for me and had it ready within 15 minutes. Amazing! Very kind, very talented chef and staff, outstanding sushi. We will be back. Many, many times. This is now my go-to in Richmond.
Omg this sushi is phenomenal.
My wife and i split x2 avacado rolls, 1 rage roll and 1 volcano roll. They were all the bomb.
Great place to beat the heat.
My favorite sushi place, have been many times over the years it’s been there, we go whenever we’re in Carytown. Sushi is always fresh and tasty, ramen is good, teriyaki is delicious, quick service and food made fast, though last time I went it was one waitress taking care of everything, gotta hire more people if you want the place to run smoothly and fast!
Absolutely unsanitary.. I literally felt nauseous after finding filth in my glass, I was in disbelief until my husband scrapped it off with his fingernail 🤢 The food was tasteless and rubbery with way overcooked steak, not sure if it really was steak, didn't really eat it because of the unsanitary conditions of the restaurant and sickness we all the sudden felt.. I see why on a Friday we were the only ones there.. when my husband brought it to our waitresses attention she just blew it off saying it was green tea stains, if we could scrap it off with a fingernail a scrub brush and hot soapy water would clean it just fine, not stained just dirty.. obviously we will never return and definitely do not recommend
In response: you know as well as I that we left the food on the table.. I unfortunately ate more than my husband before he brought the filth to my attention.. trust me had I seen the glass beforehand I would have never ordered to begin with.. There is no excuse and you can not scratch off a stain only dirt✌️
Top experience.
Granted, I miss the moody atmosphere of the old spot, but the fresh decor comes with some of the freshest fish I've had in Richmond. The platter meals are generous and varied, with each piece more buttery and satisfying than the last. Their spicy tuna roll has no right tasting as good as it does. Great spot for a date with friendly service and the bonus of Carytown people watching outside.
best cut of nigiri/sushi i’ve had in a while. i went here on a saturday night and lucky for us it wasn’t too crowded. the specialty rolls were good but the highlight of the meal was definitely the sushi. the cut of fish was thick and fresh. you don’t find many places that do that anymore so 5/5 for that. in general a nice little date spot
This lovely little restaurant sits right at the beginning of carytown, the end closest to the fan in Richmond , Va. My partner and I loved the atmosphere and it was nice and comfortable despite it being around 20 degrees outside. The space …
